The British Museum: Both older and younger children will love seeing the Egyptian mummies and the Rosetta Stone along with the literally millions of other artifacts. The London Zoo: Originally opened in 1847, the London Zoo is the world’s oldest scientific (meaning the animals are actually studied here, rather than just here for the sole purpose of being on display) zoo. It houses over 760 different species of animals. Check out the new Tiger Territory, and be sure to take the kids for the penguin feeding!
